Colonizer Shoot 'em Up

Project Description

Colonizer is the third game I worked on at The Game Assembly. We made it in C++ using our own Engine, with HGE used for rendering and FMOD for audio.

My Contributions

  • Basic forcebased physicssystem for gameobjects
  • Implementing collision for combined collisionshapes
  • Particlesystem
  • Reading levelfiles created by LevelDesigners using Tiled
  • Threaded rendering
  • Wrapper for XML-reading
